The pre-tensioner tubes might have been damaged during assembly due to a manufacturing defect of certain front seat belt pre-tensioners This can result in reduced or complete loss of pretension in the event of a crash and could increase the risk of injury to the occupant.

The Jaguar F-Type vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 19 January and 15 March 2022.
