Reason for the recall:
The gap between the fuel tank and the fixing band is too narrow, which can cause fuel tank damage and fuel leakage in the event of a side collision. Fuel leakage close to a source of ignition will increase the risk of fire.
The Hyundai Santa Fe models affected by this recall were manufactured in November 2020.
