Reason for the recall:
The rear axle may not be sufficiently lubricated, leading to a malfunction of the wheel bearings which can cause the rear wheels to lock. This can provoke a loss of vehicle’s control, increasing the risk of accident and injuries.
The Ford Transit vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 26 September 2023 and 29 April 2024.
