Reason for the recall:
The driver’s seat belt passes only through the rubber sleeve at the anchorage point and not through the metal anchor loop. In the event of a accident, it could not correctly restrain the driver, increasing the risk of injuries.
The Ford Ranger vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 20 May 2022 and 2 April 2024.
