The retention spring may not securely lock the driver’s airbag module to the steering wheel. As a result, the airbag’s protective function will be impaired, increasing the risk of injury in the event of an accident.

The Ford Puma models affected by this recall were manufactured between 6 November 2019 and 29 January 2020.
