A high-pressure fuel injector can crack, resulting in fuel accumulating in the engine. If this fuel, whether it’s liquid or vapour, is near a hot surface, it can catch fire. This can lead to a fire, injuries.

The Ford Kuga vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 25 November 2022 and 19 December 2023.
