Ford Kuga (2019 – 2022)

EV/Hybrid fire

A piston rod may rupture the engine block and cause an oil leakage. The leaking oil can stay trapped in the lower engine guard and cause a fire due to its proximity to the catalytic converter of the exhaust system.

The Ford Kuga vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 2 August 2019 and 13 June 2022.
