Reason for the recall:
The output of the engine-mounted mechanical vacuum pump may decrease over time.
As a result, the functioning of the vacuum powered brake assist can be impaired, leading to increased risk of an accident.
The Cadillac Escalade models affected by this recall were manufactured between 2015 and 2017.
