Reason for the recall:
The screw connection of the servo unit on the gear rack casing of the steering system may be faulty. This could cause the steering system to fail and become blocked, increasing the risk of an accident.
The BMW 2 Series vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 15 August and 17 October 2023.
