Certain battery modules may have anomalies in their key parameters. This may result in a defect in the affected modules, leading to increased risk of fire.

The Audi e-tron GT vehicles affected by this recall were manufactured between 9 January 2020 and 16 February 2024.

Specification of the defect 24. 1. 2025:
A combination of production issues (such as a torn anode tab, a folded cathode tab, a peeled-off cathode or a double production topic pouch crack) was found in some of the batteries’ high-voltage modules. Over the service life of the vehicle, these issues, when combined, can increase the risk of fire.
