Another recall for 386,000 older BMWs for the driver’s airbag

BMW is recalling 364,275 vehicles of the 1, 3, M3, X1, and X3 model series manufactured between 2008 and 2010. The reason for the recall is a fault in the gas generator of the driver’s airbag that can lead to uncontrolled deployment and release of metal fragments that can injure the occupants when the airbag is deployed.
