Range Rovers recalls for passenger’s airbags

Land Rover is recalling 5,758 Range Rover vehicles manufactured between 2006 and 2012 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that a fault in the gas generator of the front passenger airbag can lead to uncontrolled deployment and release of metal fragments that can injure the occupants when the airbag is deployed.

In an authorized workshop, the passenger’s airbag is checked and replaced if necessary.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14026R“. The internal manufacturer code is “N897“.
