Power steering may fail on some Chevrolet and Cadillac models

General Motors is recalling 536 Chevy Camaro, 200 Chevy Corvette, 94 Cadillac ATS and 104 Cadillac CTS manufactured between 2017 and 2018. The reason for the recall is possible failure of the electric power steering assistance.

At an authorised workshop, the power steering unit is replaced.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference numbers “14966R“ and “14968R“. The internal manufacturer code is “N252497020“.
