Peugeot, Citroen and Opel vans may have problems with emergency braking

Peugeot is recalling 7,431 vehicles of the Boxer model series manufactured between 16. 4. 2024 and 18. 3. 2025. The reason for the recall is a restricted function of the emergency brake assist system.

The same problem may occur with 6,354 Citroen Jumper vans manufactured between 17. 9. 2024 and 11. 3. 2025 and 4,855 Opel Movano vans with production period between 8. 10. 2024 and 11. 3. 2025.

At an authorised workshop, the front camera software (HALF) is updated.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference numbers “15430R, 15431R, 15429R“. The internal manufacturer codes are “MWZ, NW7, KRZ“.
