Over a million Fords may experience fuel injection failure at high temperatures

Ford is recalling 1,007,389 vehicles of the Mustang, Explorer and Bronco model series manufactured between 1. 7. 2021 and 29. 7. 2022. The reason for the recall is a loss of thrust at high temperatures due to inadequate fuel supply.

A repair measure is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2025 at an authorized workshop.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) is monitoring the recall under reference number “15444R” The manufacturer’s internal code is “25S75
