Opel recalls older Corsas due to faulty airbags

Opel is recalling 488 Corsa vehicles manufactured between 28 April and 19 May 2009 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the passenger airbag may not deploy correctly in the event of an accident, resulting in an increased risk of injury.

At an authorized workshop, the passenger airbag will be replaced.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14375R“. The internal manufacturer code is “KKC“.
