Opel Grandland: Heating failure from loose connection

Opel is recalling 2,104 Grandland vehicles manufactured between 26 June 2025 and 13 August 2025 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is incorrect tightening of the 48V heating connection which may cause it to come loose and lead to heating failure or overheating.

At an authorised workshop, the connection of the 48V heating cable will be checked and tightened to a torque of 8 Nm if necessary. If there are signs of overheating, the cable harness will be replaced.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “15570R“. The internal manufacturer code is “KU7“.
