Opel Combo: The electric parking brake may fail

Opel is recalling 53 Combo models built between 2020 and 2023. The reason for the recall is that the wiring harness of the electric parking brake can rub against the underbody panelling. This can damage the cable, which may lead to the failure of the electric parking brake.

In the workshop, a change in the fastening of the cable harness is planned. For this purpose, the condition of the cable harness is checked and, if necessary, repaired. The KBA monitors the measure under reference number “013140” and the internal manufacturer code is “KG4“.
