Opel Astra: Incorrect VIN on the type plate of the B-pillar

Opel is recalling 9,861 Astra built in 2023 to workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is the incorrect VIN on the type plate on the B-pillar.

In the workshop, the manufacturer’s label on the B-pillar is checked and replaced if necessary. The KBA is investigating the action under reference number “013154” and the internal code is “KIE“.
