Over 390,000 Nissans Qashqai is at risk of fuel leakage and fire

Nissan is recalling 390,595 vehicles of the Qashqai model series manufactured between 4. 5. 2021 and 17. 10. 2024. The recall is due to a wear on the fuel line due to friction which can lead to fuel leakage. There is a risk of fire.

At an authorised workshop, if the fuel pipe shows minor wear, a sleeve is fitted. If the wear poses a risk, the pipe is replaced on all potentially affected vehicles.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “15667R“. The internal manufacturer code is “PG5C6“.
