Nissan NV300: The side airbags not working in case of an accident

Nissan is recalling 461 NV300 vehicles manufactured between 2021 and 2023 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the side impact sensors and their wiring harnesses have not been installed, and as a result, the side airbags and belt tensioners will not deploy in the event of a relevant accident.

In an authorized workshop, the side impact sensors and their wiring harness will be checked and installed, if necessary.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14484R“. The internal manufacturer code is “PN4C1“.
