Nissan Ariya: Motor replacement for 485 vehicles

Nissan is recalling 485 Ariya vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2023 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that damage to the motor’s O-rings during the assembly process can lead to an oil leak. This can result in losing power and switching to the emergency mode with an error display. It may not be possible to restart the vehicle.

In an authorised workshop, the entire motor is replaced.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number „14032R“. The internal manufacturer code is „R24A2“.
