Mini Cooper: The HV battery may short-circuit

Mini is recalling 146,687 Cooper vehicles manufactured between 2018 and 2024 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that a high-voltage battery may short-circuit, resulting in a fire hazard.

In an authorised workshop, the control unit is programmed.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14191R“. The internal manufacturer code is “0061750800“.
