Mercedes-Benz SL: Faulty routing of the 12V wiring harness

Mercedes is recalling 12,341 SLs built between 2021 and 2023 to the workshop. The reason for the recall is a faulty routing of the 12V wiring harness, which can lead to an increased risk of fire.

The routing of the wiring harness is reworked in the workshop. The KBA is investigating the measure under reference number “013228” and the internal manufacturer code is “1595002“.
