Mercedes-Benz GLC: Incorrect bolting of the trailer hitch reinforcement

Mercedes-Benz is recalling 966 GLCs built between 2022 and 2023 to workshops worldwide. The reason for the measure is that a towing disengagement can be triggered by a faulty screw connection of the reinforcement of the trailer hitch.

The bolts of the trailer hitch reinforcement are replaced in the workshop. The KBA monitors the recall under the reference number “012926” and the internal code is “6490014“.
