Mercedes-Benz C-Class: The brake hose can be damaged by torsion or chafing

Mercedes-Benz is recalling 298 C-Classes built in 2023 to workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the rear left brake hose can be damaged by torsion or chafing, which can lead to a loss of brake fluid and an impairment of braking performance.

The routing of the brake hose will be checked in the workshop and, if necessary, the brake hose will be replaced.

The KBA monitors the measure under the reference number “013276” and the internal manufacturer code is “4290101“.
