Mazda MX-30: Faulty charge controller software

Mazda is recalling 9,585 MX-30s of the model years 2022 and 2023 to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the recall is faulty software in the charge controller, which can lead to the vehicle not being able to be started.

The On-Board Charger (OBC) is reprogrammed in the workshop. The KBA is investigating the recall under reference number “012881” and the internal manufacturer code is “AP028A“.
