Mazda CX-60 and CX-90: An increased effort when steering

Mazda is recalling 145,034 CX-60 and CX-90 vehicles manufactured between 2022 and 2023 to authorised workshops worldwide. Inadequate lubrication of the worm gear of the power steering motor in the steering gear can lead to increased effort when steering.

At the authorised workshop the gearing of the worm wheel is regreased, and the spring that engages in the worm shaft is replaced with a modified component.
