Reason for the recall:
The connector of the positive battery cable on the front power distribution box may be damaged. This might result in a failure of the vehicle’s electrical system and engine during driving, potentially leading to an accident.
The BMW 3 series models affected by this recall were manufactured between December 2009 and October 2011.
