Lexus NX and RX: Risk of fire due to faulty fuel pump

Lexus is recalling 227 NX200 and RX300 vehicles manufactured between 2017 and 2022 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is an incorrect inspection during the first recall: Fuel pump failure can lead to loss of fuel and risk of fire.

In an authorized workshop, the high-pressure fuel pump will be rechecked and replaced if necessary.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14644R“. The internal manufacturer code is “24SD-149“.
