Land Rover is recalling 15,371 Range Rover vehicles built between 2006 and 2012 to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the front passenger airbag can deploy in an uncontrolled manner when triggered. This can cause metal fragments to come loose, which can injure the occupants.
As a remedy, the passenger airbag modules are replaced in the relevant vehicles at the workshop.
The KBA monitors the recall under the reference number “013135” and the internal manufacturer code is “N603“.
