Land Rover Range Rover: Defective weld seam on the seat frame lock

Land Rover is recalling 1,110 Range Rovers built between 2022 and 2023. The reason for the recall is a defective weld seam on the locking mechanism of the second row seat frame. This can fail and impair occupant protection.

In the workshop, the locking of the seat frame on the left seat of the second row is checked and, if necessary, the corresponding seat frame and the associated components are replaced. The KBA monitors the measure under the reference number “012913” and the manufacturer-internal code is “N783“.
