Land Rover Discovery Sport: Incorrectly tightened A-pillar bolts

Land Rover is recalling 1,670 Discovery Sport vehicles manufactured between 30. 10. 2023 and 31. 1. 2024 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that incorrectly tightened A-pillar bolts can impair the body structure’s performance in an accident.

In an authorised workshop, the fastening of the lower A-pillar screw on the right is checked and tightened to the correct 24 Nm if necessary.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “013770“. The internal manufacturer code is “N871“.
