Land Rover Defender: Software error causes stability issues

Land Rover is recalling 134 Defender vehicles manufactured in 2025 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that an incorrect software configuration limits driving stability and suspension stiffness. The stability control system is not properly adjusted.

In an authorized workshop the software will be udpdated.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14941R“. The internal manufacturer code is “N977“.
