Kia Picanto and Stonic: Possible engine failure

Kia is recalling 7,771 Picanto and Stonic vehicles manufactured in 2024 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that a short circuit in the exhaust gas recirculation valve can lead to engine failure.

In an authorised workshop, the EGR valve unit is replaced.

The KBA monitors the measure under the reference number “14327R” and the manufacturer’s internal code is “241099“.
