Kia EV6: The rear left driveshafts can break

Kia is recalling 2,977 vehicles of the EV6 model series manufactured between 26. 1. 2023 and 10. 4. 2023. The reason for the recall are improperly heat-treated driveshafts that can break and lead to loss of the drive.

At an authorised workshop, the inner rear left driveshaft needs to be replaced.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “13897R“. The internal manufacturer codes are “241022“.
