Jeep recalls over 30,000 cars for possible brake failure

Jeep is recalling 34,557 Compass and Renegade SUVs manufactured between 2023 and 2024 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that a faulty brake pedal assembly can cause the brake to fail while driving.

In an authorised workshop, the brake pedal is reinforced.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “14433R“. The internal manufacturer code is “B7B“.

You can use our sample request text. After reporting the vehicle's VIN code, you will find out if the defect is present on your car, or if it has already been resolved by the previous owner if the car was purchased second-hand.

If you wish to know more about the eventual problems of a specific car (e.g. real mileage, potential traffic accident damages, odometer rollback, repairs, etc.), in that case, we suggest going to this page.

Do you know the year Your car was made? You most likely don't.
