Fuel pump
On 181,726 Hyundai i20 and Bayon vehicles manufactured between 1 April 2021 and 3 December 2022, the impeller that draws in fuel and sends it to the engine is coming into contact with the outer walls of the fuel pump. This swelling/expansion, caused by operation at high temperatures, may result in a loss of engine power and/or the vehicle stalling. The VIN code ranges for potentially affected cars can be found in the table at the end of the article.
Seat belts
Defective seat belt retractors have been identified in some BMW and Mini models. Specifically, the belt may lose its restraining effect in 8,800 BMW vehicles in the 2 Series, X1, iX1, iX2 and X2 model series, and in 6,331 Mini and Mini Countryman vehicles. All of the affected vehicles were manufactured between 18 June and 25 August 2025.
Emergency braking
Toyota is recalling 3,738 ProAce vans, manufactured between 4 October 2024 and 11 March 2025, for inspection at authorised workshops. The recall is due to limited functionality of the Emergency Brake Assist system. The front camera software will be updated at an authorised service centre.
