Hyundai Kona: Damage to the high pressure fuel pump

Worldwide, 35,500 Kona produced in the construction period from 29 March 2018 to 08 October 2021 is being recalled to the workshop. Among them are 1,500 vehicles from Germany. The reason for the measure is that fibreglass strands can come loose and possibly damage the high-pressure fuel pump.

In the workshop, the fuel filters are checked and replaced if necessary. The internal manufacturer code is “21D091”.
