Hyundai i30 N: Incorrect oil pump control

Hyundai is recalling 5,858 i30 N models built between 2021 and 2022 to workshops worldwide. The reason for the measure is an incorrect control of the electric oil pump, which can cause a sudden pressure drop in the dual-clutch transmission.

A software update is applied to the transmission control unit in the workshop. The KBA monitors the recall under the reference number “012715“, and the manufacturer-internal code is “21DC10“.
