Honda recall: The brake master cylinder may become loose

Honda is recalling 137,026 Civic, Passport and Pilot model years 2020 to 2021 to workshops worldwide. The reason for the measure is that the master brake cylinder can come loose due to improper assembly and thus impair braking performance.

In the workshop, the nuts of the brake booster are checked and, if necessary, the brake booster and master cylinder are replaced. The KBA monitors the measure under the reference number “012977” and the internal manufacturer code is “6BJ“.
