This week’s recalls:

– Jaguar, Land Rover – airbags
Overview of recalls in the 11th week of 2025
Two recalls for three models of two brands were announced via EU Safety Gate in week 11 of 2025. Seven recalls for ten models of six brands were published by the German Motor Vehicle Authority (KBA).
One recall each will be found this week in the European Safety Gate system for the Jeep and Porsche.
Cadillac, Honda, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover and Opel are all recalling through the KBA.

Fuel pump
Last week, Toyota recalled three models due to a possible defect in the fuel pump that could significantly increase the risk of fire. This week we find another recall with the same denominator in the German KBA database for more than 1.3 million Honda vehicles.
Battery fire
The high-voltage battery may contain cells with a defective separator in more than 190,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wrangler vehicles manufactured between July 2020 and November 2023. A damaged separator can lead to a very rapid chemical chain reaction in the battery, which can cause it to overheat and subsequently catch fire.
Dangerous battery overheating due to worn contact surfaces on the high-voltage battery safety connector is also a risk for the 12,147 Kia Niro vehicles produced between 2021 and 2022.
Airbags
Jaguar and Land Rover are recalling older cars for airbags. In total, nearly 50,000 cars built between 2007 and 2016 are involved. A defect in the airbag’s gas generator can lead to uncontrolled activation and the release of metal fragments that can injure passengers.
Details on this week’s Rapex recalls can be found in the table below.
