Honda CR-V and Odyssey: The seat belt can release unexpectedly

Honda is recalling 541,917 CR-V and Odyssey from model years 2018 to 2019 to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the width of the belt buckle channel in the belt latch does not meet the specification and can cause the release button to jam. As a result, the seat belt can release unexpectedly.

The defective seat belt buckle is replaced in the workshop.

Monitoring by the KBA is under investigation. The measure under the reference number “012633” and the internal manufacturer code is “6XL, 6XR“.
