Honda CR-V: Missing fuse can lead to a fire

Honda is recalling 427,382 hybrid variants of the CR-V vehicles manufactured between 2018 and 2022 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that a missing fuse on the battery cable can lead to a fire in the event of an accident with a short circuit in the wiring.

In an authorised workshop, a fuse is retrofitted in the battery cable.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “013441”. The internal manufacturer code is “6FA”.
