Honda Civic and CR-V: The ECU reset under certain conditions

Honda is recalling 82,534 Civic and CR-V model years 2021 to 2023 to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the measure is a programming error, which under certain conditions leads to the resetting of the FI ECU. This leads to a deviation from the OBD regulations.

In the workshop, the affected vehicles will receive a software update. The KBA is investigating the recall under reference number “012962” and the internal manufacturer code is “6EU“.
