Honda Civic: Premature switch-off of the engine indicator light

Honda is recalling 63,817 Civic vehicles manufactured between 2023 and 2024 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that a software error leads to premature switch-off of the engine indicator light.

In an authorised workshop, the software will be updated.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “13869“. The internal manufacturer code is “6AJ“.
