Ford Transit: Defective weld seams on the frame

Ford is recalling 4,982 Transit vehicles manufactured between 2023 and 2024 to authorised workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that defective weld seams can lead to damage to the vehicle frame.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “013804“. The internal manufacturer code is “24S23“.
