Ford is recalling 5,423 Transit Connect and Tourneo Connect vehicles manufactured between 17 August 2023 and 27 March 2024 to authorized workshops worldwide. The reason for the recall is that the rear view camera image may freeze, and objects may not be displayed.
In an authorized workshop, new software will be installed. In some cases, the front-end module will also be replaced.
The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “15196R“. The internal manufacturer code is “25S34“.
