First recall for the new 2025 Opel Frontera over the brake pedal

Opel is recalling 388 vehicles of the Frontera model series manufactured between 10. 6. 2025 and 2. 8. 2025. The recall is due to the brake brake pedal pushrod which may break, making it impossible to slow down the vehicle using the service brake.

At an authorised workshop, the brake pedal housing is replaced.

The Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt (KBA) monitors the recall under the reference number “15618R“. The internal manufacturer code is “KUX“.
