Fiat Scudo: Faulty diagnosis in the engine control unit

Fiat is recalling 4,173 Scudo vans of the 2022 and 2023 model years to the workshop worldwide. The reason for the recall is a faulty calibration of the urea pump diagnosis in the engine control unit, which leads to the failure to warn the driver when the SCR catalytic converter is deactivated.

The calibration of the engine control unit (ECU) is updated in the workshop. The KBA monitors the measure under the reference number “012936” and the manufacturer’s internal code is “6615“.
